Esta mañana han salido los alumnos de P5 acompañados por las 3 profesoras de este curso hacia las instalaciones de Pozo Izquierdo, en las cuales desarrollarán parte de su campamento de fin de curso. Vean la programación del campamento y la circular informativa. Esperamos que todos tengan una grata e inolvidable experiencia y les veremos de vuelta el viernes.

Dear Parents:

We would like to cordially invite you to a meeting to be held in the Dining Room in the secondary department on
Tuesday, 5th June, at 4.15 pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with information about the changes that will be made next year when the
students who are currently members of S2 will move into the Upper School here and begin to study for their IGCSE
subjects ( The International General Certificate of Secondary Education ).

Pupils in the Maspalomas Department who have reached the end of Primary School and wish to carry on with their education at Canterbury, will continue Secondary studies in the centre in Las Palmas. For this reason on Wednesday, May 9th, all pupils in the present P.5 (N.C.Year 6) and their parents and teachers will be visiting the Secondary Department installations ( Circular Maspalomas P6 Transfer). Dear Parents,

On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February all departments of the Canterbury School in Las Palmas will be closed to celebrate Carnival.

We hope everyone has a good time during the Carnival 2007 festivities.

Extracurricular activities will begin in October in the centres in Las Palmas.
In the Junior and Secondary departments the following activities will take place: Basketball, Dance, Judo, Roller skating, Swimming, Football and Computer Club. For more details please refer to the circular. .
In Ruben Dario the following activities will begin: Basketball, Dance, Judo, Swimming, Flute Club and Art Club. For more details please refer to the circular.

Canterbury School offers a Saturday School for children between the ages of five and sixteen. The classes will be given by qualified native teachers. English will be taught through: conversation, games, sport and information technology. In the older age group attention will be paid to the the grammar required in the Spanish educational system.

INTRODUCTORY DAY FOR K1 AND NEW PUPILS IN THE INFANT DEPARTMENT

New pupils in the Infant Department may visit the centre with their parents on TUESDAY 5TH September from 14.00 to 15.30. Parents and pupils will be introduced to their teachers, may look around the building and sign up for school transport if they require this service
