The children from K1E did a lovely assembly of the story “We’ve all got bellybuttons” then our favourite dance of the “Dingle Dangle Scarecrow” and singing “Incy Wincy Spider”. We had great fun making all the animal masks and we were very happy to see our Mummies and Daddies had come to watch us.

On the 7th June 2007, 75 S2 pupils took part in their end of term music assessme3nt in the Chaucer Theatre. On Friday 5th June there was a Farewell Dinner at the British Club where Graduation Certificates Year Remembrance Photos were handed out to pupils who have finalised their school studies this June. We all spent a very pleasant and somewhat nostalgic evening in a warm, intimate family atmosphere of personal satisfaction for the successful completion of one stage and exciting anticipation for the following.

On Thursday 24th and Friday 25th May our S6 pupils will be sitting a mock ‘Selectividad’ when the school offers them the opportunity of doing a practice run under the same conditions and with an identical format of the ‘Selectividad’ examinations they will be taking on May 31st and June 1st at the UNED. We are sure that our present S6 pupils will maintain and even improve on the traditionally good results our pupils have always obtained in this examination. Keep up the good work everyone during the last few days before your final test!

P6 and S1 students visited Palmitos Park on a combined Geography, Art and Science trip. The art students concentrated on the texture and tone of the various colours of the exotic birds and other animals in the park, our geographers identified and examined the different areas of the world where these animals live in the wild and our scientists investigated the growth and development of our native Canarian plants.

On Wednesday, May 9th pupils from K2 in the Maspalomas Department visited Banana Park. During their visit they saw ostriches, hens, donkeys and even peacocks with their little chicks. They were able to see with their own eyes what they had learned about these farm animals in the classroom. Even though it was a very hot day, our infants enjoyed their trip tremendously and finished the day eating their lunch in the shady areas of Maspalomas Park
